November 28th, Asuncion Paraguay

So wow cant believe that i already finished a change out here on the mish. Pretty crazy. Things are going good here and the work is continuing. Its startin to get flippen hot here haha and like it was with dev it wasnt so bad cause they had a car and all the people had air conditioners in their houses when we went in... yeah thats definitely not the case here haha we walk on cobble stone roads, yeah just big rocks that form roads, i have pictures that i can hopefully send soon. And yeah its hot hot hot and getting hotter. There are places in paraguay out east by cuidad del este thats gettin up to 135 right not with the humidity. So yeah were just persevering always haha. It was sweet monday night some of our appointments fell through ( well thats not the sweet part of it haha) and so we were tracting and went to a guys house that we had contacted a while back and when we knocked on his door he was so stoked to see us and set some chairs out for us and we sat down and started talking. He shared with us that his twin brother had passed away not two years ago, and one thing that preach my gospel teaches is to always teach the first leccion unless the spirit dictates otherwise, and its was pretty sweet elder dyches and i like reached for our plan of salvation pamflets at the same time... cause we were feelin that. We had an amazing lession with him and he loved it. We gave him a book of mormon and he wanted to read it. We havent been able to get back to see him since cause he works a ton but we have a noche de hogar with him and a family from the ward this wednesday that we pray all will work out... so yeah were gonna see. Family your probably wondering why your son is serving his mission in a south american mission and has been here a month and a half and has zero baptisms huh? haha well its cause the people will let you in most of the time to teach them and share something but when you ask them to commit three hours of their week to go to church they just cant do it. In my 6 weeks already i have had 1 investigator attend church and i think that was about week 2 or somethin. So yeah we have so much work to do but we can see alot of hope in this area in the future and hopefully in the near future. These are incredible people here and they all believe in christ which is amazing, so yeah its our job to point them in the right direction. Over the last few weeks i have gained alot of faith, its something that i have been studying alot in my free time too. Something that i found that i absolutely love i want to share with you, Its in the bible dictionary on faith... Miracles do not produce faith, but strong faith is developed by obedience to the gospel of jesus christ, in other words, faith comes by righteousness, although miracles often confirm ones faith... Wow family that hit me so hard. I have just been waiting and waiting to see a baptism soon but i have been losing focus on the things that are so vital to leading up to baptism, its the little things family. Through these little things our faith will grow. Through the little things in our life like spending 15 20 minutes a day in our scriptures, praying as a family, helping and giving service whenever in need, attending all meetings of church on sunday. Family through these little things our faith will grow more than a miracle could help it grow. THis has been the hardest flippen time of my life down here haha but i love with my whole heart that my heavenly father has called me to serve my savior for two years of my life, that i get to devote all this time to him, and help him and be his mouth piece in anyway that i can. What a great thing. I love you all so much family it was amazing to hear about your experience in florida this week you all deserved this time to be together on a vacation again and it was great to hear the stories. Have an awesome week family and always remember the little things that we need to do to bring about great things. Love you lots.
