Hey family what’s up? Sounds like you all are doing great
this week. Well as always I want to start with the miracles of the week because
the mission is all about miracles. We are teaching the neighbors of Alberto y
Mariela. She is a single mom of 4 kids and their youngest tiene 14
años. She told us the first few visits that it was going to take all the talent
in the world to convince her of our Church. She said you are going
to have to bring in the most skilled people and use all your strength to convince
me. We began the task with a lot of faith. She had a ton of doubts, she read
the Book of Mormon at first without the right purpose, and said she didn’t like
it. But we began to teach her the lessons. We taught one night up until the
apostasy, one of my favorite doctrines. And she still had a lot of doubts but
said she was starting to understand. The next day we went back and watched the
restoration with her. The video ended and I just asked her what she thought,
and she said.. Wow... Then I asked her . what questions do you have. She
responded... None… you´ve closed my mouth... Family that was such an incredible
moment, because I DIDNT DO ANYTHING… the spirit testified to her and solved her
doubts… she had none after. She kept reading the Book of Mormon and came
to church yesterday with 2 of her kids. She has a baptism date for the 13 of
April. MILAGROS.
Well family Mariela didn’t get baptized and it looks like
they are going to separate this week and she is moving to another part of
Paraguay. It was sad….
A couple of other miracles was there is this joven named
Tony who is 19 and has been less active in the church cause his mom doesn’t
want him to come. Saturday I had the impression that we needed to visit him and
we had a really good lesson with him but he was still doubting about coming to
church yesterday. Sunday morning we showed up and he was the first person in
the church. He loved it. We walked in, participated in all the classes and
passed the sacrament. It was so awesome to see him there, he is excited.
Family.. yesterday we had 47 people in sacrament meeting
with 10 priesthood holders. We are progressing so much with the hand of the
Lord here in rama 3. It’s been really fun to see.. So yeah that’s
what’s going on down here family, the Lord is blessing the country of Paraguay.
I hope your preparing yourselves for conference… it’s going to be awesome!!! Have
a great week family.
Love Elder Hager
